IMPORTANT - HST TAX CHANGES:
As per recent changes in the Ontario Tax Code, most invoices created after May 1 2010 which include products and services that are to be delivered in part or wholly after July 1 2010, will include the new 13% HST tax, replacing both the GST and PST taxes. Some products previously exempt from PST will now be subject to HST, such as Internet and Digital Phone services.  For more details of how this HST TAX will affect you, please visit http://www.ontario.ca/taxchange or email us at telco@kelcom.com.

I have Windows Vista and cannot get my dial-up to work.

Answer

With Windows Vista, you must disable IPv6 in the TCP/IP Settings.  Follow the instructions below:

1. Start by first clicking on the start (Windows Logo) button on the desktop then moving the mouse over to Control Panel.

2. By default the control panel will be on Control Panel Home view, select Classic View on the left hand side of the window.  Then go to the Network and Sharing Center.

3. Once opened click on Manage Network Connections on the left hand side of the window.

4. Once opened RIGHT CLICK on the KELCOM Dialup connection and select properties.

5. After entering the properties go to the Networking Tab.

6. Then make sure the IPv6 is DISABLED, by clicking off the check box.

7. Click OK.  Then Close all the previous Windows.
